- All
work must be ready to turn in at the beginning of class on the assigned due
date unless your teacher tells you otherwise.
The following rules apply for late work:
- Late Work: Late
work is anything turned in after the beginning of the period on the date the
assignment is due. If you turn in late
work, you can only earn a MAXIMUM of half credit. Late work will only be
accepted within two weeks of it being assigned.
- Absent Work: If you
are absent on the day an item is assigned, and it is due on the day of or
before you return, you will be responsible for turning it in the day following
your return. Anything turned in after
that will be considered LATE and can only earn a MAXIMUM of half credit. If you are absent on the day an item is due,
you will be responsible for turning it in the day you return. If you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to
obtaining missing work/notes. You can do
so by asking a classmate and/or accessing the website.
- Tardy
Policy - If you are not in the room when the tardy bell rings and you do not
have a pass, you will be considered tardy.
For your first tardy, you will be given a verbal and documented
warning. The second tardy will result in
the option of making up the missed class time or taking a STEP. The third tardy is an automatic STEP. Six STEPS would result in dismissal from the
class for the remainder of the term with an F grade per Exeter Union High
School policy.
